I really have to stop leaving this to Saturdays. We're back for our weekly program despite my slight break from posting this week (aka me slacking off). School is about to start soon, which means I can't crochet as much. Booooooo. It also means I have to do my summer assignment that I've been pushing back. But, hey, I did my other ones, at least. Enough with the rambling. Onto the yarn!
WIP #1: The Huldra Sweater designed by Lilla Bjorn Crochet
I'm really getting close to the end of the lower body here, and since that's going to take a bit of time, thats pretty much it. I really like seeing my progress every time I work on it. I think I get extra points for the aesthetic appeal of this picture. Also, I know I keep saying it, but that purpleeeeeeee. The yarn is Beachy Breeze Fibers Coastal Fingering yarn in the colorways Dove, Vivid Blue, and Orchid.
WIP #2: The Lura Petal Cardigan designed by me!
Still double crocheting with this one. It's going quickly because of the plush worsted weight Chelsea yarn from Koigu Wool Designs. Here's the back panel in a pile on my work table. The yarn is Koigu Chelsea in the colorway C380.
We have a finished object! Well, kind of. Here's a sneak peek of the Minthe Top designed by yours truly.
Yes, I know it's not much, but I think the top panels might be too big, so I don't want to show anything just in case I have to frog certain components. The yarn I used was Premier Yarns Bamboo Joy in the color Mint.
We're pretty much done for now, but look out for our Yarn Contraband segment next week and a new WIP. I'm excited ~~~
